The recruitment process

At Conrad Advertising we appreciate that the journey that every candidate makes in applying for a new job can be stressful - we've all been there! Our aim is to make the process as supportive and professional as possible.

People are at the heart of our recruitment process.

Yes, we ask candidates to complete an online application form and submit a copy of their CV, but you will always have the opportunity to speak to Colin Lock, our HR Director at any time. At every stage of the journey any correspondence you send will be acknowledged and replied to.

Having made your application, if we feel that there may be a place for you in our team, it is likely that you will have an initial telephone interview which will be pre-arranged in advance with you.

If that goes well, the next stage is a formal first interview, probably with Colin or the recruiting manager when we will have the opportunity to find out more about you, and you us.

The final stage in the process is the most important.

All of the candidates who are invited for second interview spend either a morning or afternoon working with us, meeting their prospective colleagues and experiencing what we do and how we do it. Depending on the role, you may be asked to make a short presentation or discuss a particular topic – don’t worry we will agree this with you in advance.

And then, if we agree that you’re right for us and we’re right for you, a job offer will follow. When you commence your employment there will be a comprehensive and detailed induction programme to look forward to.
