ACE Cruise Excellence Awards 2009
The ACE Cruise Excellence Awards were presented at the UK Cruise Convention this year.
There were four categories: cruise agency of the year, cruise agent of the year, excellence in innovation and cruise personality of the year. Nominations were open to anyone at any level, who is involved in the cruise industry. The awards were not solely for cruise lines as ACE wanted to recognise all of those in the industry itself. Andy Harmer, ACE Business Development Director added, "We did not want to have cruise line awards; this is about people who have made a difference and bringing different people together. This is not about sales, or turnover or profit, or anything like that; it's about how they, as an individual or team, have worked together to develop their business." The winners were announced at the awards ceremony held in the Port of Dover on Wednesday 17th June 2009. Conrad Advertising would like to congratulate all of our shortlisted clients, particularly Barrhead Travel who won the award for ACE Cruise Agency of the Year.
